That looks like it's going down into a basement or something. Is it?

Haha, my god. That looks EXACTLY like a couch we use to have in our house. How strange..

I understand that most would not want to relive these memories. I know personally, if I had been there I probably wouldn't want to either.

I think though, the voices of the people who have been there need to be heard. Stories need to be told. People need to know about what happened there. The good and the bad before no one knows ANYTHING and this just becomes nothing. I think even if one person cared about what happened in this place it'd make a difference-somehow.

Wounds like this can not be healed-but talking about such things could be of help.

If anyone who had been in Gaebler's and would like to share their story with me, I would gladly listen. I would love to hear the good and the bad from this place.

If anyone out there-who has spent time in gaebler's, email me? I would like to know more about the conditions and treatments used in this place when it was open.

This reminds me of my childhood. We didn't need much to be happy.

well if you think that in the last century women who got pregnant were considered insane and put into these places and they were also breaking the law anyone could have been in one of these caged rooms!!
