Ingrid, this Bluefields is in New York, not Nicaragua.

Mr. Motts - not only do you have lots of talent with the lens but you're so genuinely kind to use your talent to bring your fellow, less intrepid urb-exers to such captivating, quickly-disintegrating locales. Thanks.

I just happened to be surfing the web and came upon this site. This is the saddest thing I've seen in a long time. I used to go there every summer! I even had a chance to take my kids there before it closed (1996). Talk about bringing back memories! I can't believe they're going to build condos! Hey does anyone remember Lincoln Park??

this shot is amazing!! i would love to have the courage and ability to go into abandoned buildings. I find myself strangely drawn to them and everything that could have happened within those walls

I live about 15 - 20 minutes away from this place and i would LOVE to go in it some day but..... I'm a chicken shit and i've herd stories from people who have been brave enough to go in there. I am a huge abandoned building fan so this site is like the best thing ever to me lol.
