No I don't remember seeing that, I might've missed it.

Slow and careful in this place! That wood is 130 years old, 20 of them being exposed to the weather.

It looks so different because I didn't get a chance to photograph the dacayed wards, it probably wouldn't have been a good idea back then anyways.

Sometimes you can tell just by looking at the water dammage on the ceiling... otherwise being slow and careful will tell if the floor is soft. If I'm really not sure and it's very dangerous, I won't even try. I've almost fallen through some roof blacktop at Northampton State, but that's about it (so far).

Yes it was part of occupational therapy. The men probably worked outside or in the shops.

Maybe they were giant hawks, but they looked a lot like vultures to me. I've seen them on the sides of roads more than once although I don't live in PA. I haven't needed to go underground because almost all the buildings are connected by tunnels above ground, and if they weren't I went up and over without a problem.

This room was in the administration area and difficult to access, I would bet not one patient has seen this area.

No, this was taken inside a "normal" patient room. All the kids in this building might have had major violent tendencies, the seclusion rooms were for the worst of the worst.

It could be for ventilation.

There weren't any... community events were not held in here, the kids living in this particular building would probably rarely, if ever, have contact with anyone other than parents, staff, or each other.

When a psychiatric patient would become violent, they might be put in a room like this, where they could throw themselves around without hurting themselves or other people. The inset around the door made a soundproof seal so the other patients would not be disturbed.

No, most crypts are well sealed.

They look like pipe insulation, they might contain asbestos I'm not sure.

I think the windows were frosted, and yep that's the fridge on the right.
