Cool stuff Puddleboy. If you ever get tired of "The Trail", these old state hospitals usually have tons of bottles and vintage equipment buried in the woods around the buildings... the older the hospital, the better!

It's an effect that occurs when you shoot with a wide angle lens, the building is very straight in life.

BeenThere (AKA Mike),

Oh, when you guys learn... advertising the name of the place only hurts your organization and what you are trying to do.

You can keep posting all your childish comments on my site too, they will just be deleted. I'm keeping track of it all though, perhaps your supervisor might find your representation of the agency you work for and what you are doing while on the job very interesting. E-mail me if you'd like to discuss this further.

Other than for supporting the weight of the building, the basements contained steam pipes, passages for maintenance personnel, equipment for storage, and was also used as a fallout shelter.

Twug, the clippings did not look related to each other in the sense of it being a collage.

Ed, I believe the Session 9 wall was either partly or entirely created by the film crew, this is the real stuff!

Yes, there are a bunch that are still being used as psychiatric hospitals, including the ones in Independence IA, Danville PA, and Dayton OH.
