Back in the early to mid eighties after a night out at Romeo and Juliets or DSteptoes in the city centre we would travel out here at 2 in the morning when you could gain access to this building and we would just sit around telling stories and sleep here until morning. There is a mortuary on the side and access to the main building was via the basement

it was probably in the cube of building 7 right? back behind the vents.... yea me and my friend just checked it out.... its an axel that powers the pumps for the air conditioning.... if you walk a cuple feet to the left.. youll see a gigantic generator or motor used to backup power for it

most of building 7 is ridden with biohazardous signs so its not really a good idea to go in.... but its fun anyway... just wear a respirator

Barry Farms has a lot of history in the D.C. area. There have been talks of closing the housing development ; so it too could soon be an abandoned property to explore.

Yeah alot of these places on here have equipment left behind, I'm sure somewhere could use it. It would be an upgrade to them I'm sure.

Amazing gallery of shots. It is so interesting to see things like this. It astonishes me how big a place like that is and also the fact that the place is built from what they produced there.

That's really kind of creepy how they did that to people. I couldn't imagine having to be in a warm or hot bath for a extended period of time. But I guess these people had no choice. They don't look like there against it so who knows.

I have "trolled" and posted here for a few years now, and have to say after reading the replies, that this set has filled me with great sadness and despair. My heart goes out to all of you that had to endure the suffering.
