This also makes me think of a school for some reason...those doors remind me of the entrance to the cafeteria and down that hallway would be lockers and classrooms.
I wonder why this is so free of graffitti when it really does look like it would be easy to get into this place. Hmmmm...anyone wanna call TAPS? (That was sarcastic lol.)
My first thought was that this looks just like a school hallway...except for the gurney on the floor. It is cool when you see something that is older than you are--thanks to LarryD, who filled us in on the year and make of the gurney! I love the color and the glazed bricks. It SO makes me miss elementary school...
I love the stone on the walls! It makes me think of an era gone by where everything was built with care and with some artistic flair to it...unlike now where everything is pre-made and just thrown together with no love.
It is kind of sad to see the piano laying there, almost dejected and rejected...and to see the before picture when it was all sunny and people could enjoy the sun's warmth and the after picture where it just looks...empty and neglected--almost brings a tear to my eye.
I agree with everyone else's comments. I love the color on the wall! That is my fave color right there. :) My first thought was DANG that looks like our old house as we were getting ready to move out! We had boxes everywhere, just like this lol. :)
I have SEEN this poster somewhere else...but I can't remember where! There is one like it at my childrens' pediatrician's office, but the babies on it look like babies and not...man-child-pig-tailed-belly-button things. That is ONE SERIOUS OUTTIE. :D
Isn't that doorknob a bit low to the ground? I love how the paint and plaster is peeling away just a little bit by the door to reveal the brink underneath. It looks so cool...almost like an album cover for some band.
