Well now. I don't think I will be having my lunch thank-you-very-much. :D :D Geez. I can't imagine some of the things you could possibly step on as you explore Mr. Motts. Eewwwww. Gross.
I agree! Can you imagine having a home office up there and looking out this window as you work? I think it would be so quiet and relaxing and peaceful. :)
Also waking up and having this view to look at as you greet the day...beautiful. :)
We live right in the city and the abandoned apartment house next door has pigeons living up under the eaves...and they are ruining OUR siding. The City isn't doing crap about it and I am ready to sue if they don't do something this Spring. That building needs to be condemned (the 1st floor is bad) and they won't do it.
Dreary is really a great title for this shot though. I wonder how long that hallway really is? It looks nearly endless...(kinda)...
Thanks Mr. Motts! Now I can see it...those awful brown paper towels that places use when the GOOD paper towels are used up lol. I hate the smell of them, especially when they are wet. Blah. :D
The grounds look SO well-kept still and the roadway/pathway is almost pristine! If you didn't know better, you would think this is a college campus or something like that.
Great pictures Mr. Motts! My proverbial hat is off ro you once again! If you are up my way, give me a shout! :D
Yeah eldokid! That is a great point! I wonder if there are any artifacts buried in the cornerstone. Too bad it will never be known unless the building falls...
Wow. 1914 was even before my GRANDMA was born! She just turned 89...so this building is coming up on 100 years old in 3 years! :D
I sure hope you took precautions...but I am sure you did. This "ain't your first rodeo" as they say. I know you take care of yourself and you won't do anything that is an obvious danger to you or your friends.
I LOVE THE STONEWORK ON THIS! Oh man...that is so pretty!!!!
I vote for "open the door"...
OOOooooh...got eaten by a troll-baby with a really bad case of German Measles...
Thanks for playing.
