I was engrossed in the layers of this photo, staring intently at the colours and textures and starting to wonder what, exactly, was through that doorway and up those stairs...

...then my mobile heralded a text message and I jumped out of my skin. Jesus, I get wrapped up in these photos!

That's breathtaking, Motts.

The number above the door isn't the same...

I'm soooo glad there's a wallpaper of this one! It grabbed me from the thumbnail image - the colours are incredible.

Hi Rez, I'm Kez ;) You must be the fiftieth person to mention 'Session 9' on these comments pages...and I just ordered it. Cheers for that!

Amazing gallery, Motts. I'm slowly working my way through all your archives, and loving every minute of it. Oh, to be able to do some urban exploration myself!

It brings your thoughts round to the people who worked in places like this, doesn't it? I can see a young nurse, struggling with the emotional strain of being in a place like this, day after day.

It's quite a sobering thought.

Oh, that's criminally sad. I'm usually cynical to the core, but I'm sitting here with eyes full of tears. God, I'm glad no one's looking...lol!

**Wants to rescue puppy**

Damn you, stuffed toys, for making grown men and women weep!

A crown resting on a coffin usually signifies that the deceased was a monarch. Strange that there would be so many laid to rest here, in an unlocked crypt.

But I guess Motts can't tell us much about it in case he gives away the location. And I completely respect him for that :)

If all the world's a stage, where does the audience sit...? ;)

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this photo. It's almost like being there...

...and then I was looking for the face that a couple of you mentioned, and nearly had a heart attack. I don't think I saw the same one as you guys. Far left corner of the front of the stage, there's a screaming face (grey and black), tilting to the right. Clear as day.

I think I've been on this site too much :p
