We had that Santa pillow in my family! I'm pretty sure it was of pre-printed fabric and my mom sewed it together and stuffed it with fill, sometime in the eighties. It got put out with the other holiday decorations every year... heck, we probably still have it in my parents' basement somewhere.

Wow, there's definitely something awesome to this photo, the depth and texture... it really stands out, I think.

I enjoyed this gallery more than I initially thought I would (I don't like the industry ones as much as the hospitals, usually). But this was definitely a hidden surprise! My grandparents were from Michigan and lived in Detroit at one point, right around when this was being built. Now I wonder if they had ever walked through it too...

This looks a -lot- older than under 100 years, like I should be reading about it in the archaeology magazine or something...

Yerrk, that broken wood coming from the porch area in front looks like the legs of a giant spider. Haunted house looking indeed! I just love the architecture though, and those patterns with the stone. They don't bother with that now, especially for hospitals...
