It almost appears to me that there is a black ghost-like blur- image in the photo that looks as though it is walking toward the photographer. Whether it is due to causes like mold/ mildew/ water damage, or simply the layout of the building in general, or just a trick of light and shadow, it still lends a creepy haunted effect. It caught my attention most of all. Very interesting. :)

Fantastic pictures. I've seen Ladd School, but only in the dark. it was refreshing to see it from someone else's point of view. it's too bad you couldn't have caught other buildings on film like gym which was probably the creepiest building before they tore it down. Very nice work.

How long ago were these pictures taken? They are very good but these buildings look like they are in much better condition than when I was there 2 years ago. When I went in the fogarty building it looked and felt like it would fall down on our heads any minute.
