well from my plumping training, im pretty confident in saying they are gas pipes. here by law they are yellow and as a general rule they use blue stickers reading 'GAS' as the clashing colours make it pretty clear what it is.

i HATE walking down those corridors and finding a dead end :P and theres so many in that place. they should be more considerate and unlock the lot.
