I can't express enough times how sweet this place is! I'm so sad they're tearing it down. Look...rake up the leaves, put on a new paint job, and it should be as good as new ;-)
I like how the ceiling is bevelled like that (I think I used the right word).

Motts, you have captured this room well. An extremely creepy shot! Might this make nice wallpaper?

These people sure weren't afraid to experiment with color schemes.

This picture brings to mind these raspberry popsicles I used to love as a kid. Now I want one :-)

This place seems so clean compared to many other abandoned hospitals. It looks like there wasn't too much vandalism either. This hallway looks like all it'd need is a new ceiling and you're good to go!

lol yes the boiler room is allways the best part of any sight.

No Rat, it's not just you! I've been sitting here staring at that thing, and I can't figure out what it is. Can you shed some light for us, Motts?

I know I've left comments on almost all of these pictures, but I just can't help myself. This is beautiful, and so serene looking with all the green. This place must have been really something back in it's heyday.

Creepy! Reminds me of "Dark Water".

I really like those doors. I've never seen doors like these before.

I don't know what the room looked like in this place, but in some of the places I have worked the tub has enough room around it to place a small mechanical or electrical lift (like a Hoyer lift --> http://www.apexdynamics.com/Alton.htm) next to it to help the person in and out of the tub. If ithe room was built before lifts were available then they needed enough room for several people to help the person in and out of the tub if the person was large or incapable of getting in/out without assistance. A moveable screen can be placed in front of the tub to protect privacy if others are in the room. http://www.pearsonsurg...log/img/JBC-2904.jpg
