The X-Ray creature you are looking at is far from a creature. It is a Franklin Head Unit. Its main purpose to obtain x-rays of the human skull. It was however a wonderfully adaptive diagnostic tool. A technologist well versed in its use could obtain films of hands. feet, shoulders, hips and other parts of the human anatomy.

This creature without question is a hero. I ought to Know. You see - your taking pictures of my diagnostic x-ray department. The pain of seeing these pictures and the choice of words used to label them is insensitive.
Anyone know it's most recent status? it's 2014 now and I'm considering going.
Are these still there??
Is the building they're in still there??

This is my ancestress cemetery. The people buried there go back to the Brewster family. They are descendants of William Brewster of Mayflower fame. The property the hospital was built on once belonged to the family. They had a trading post on the river where they traded with the Indians. The hospital is being torn down. Pretty much brick by brick. Only acouple buildings will be saved.

I remember these stairs from when I would go visit my Dad. He worked in the power house from before I was born in 1967 to when he retired.

Lectures, holiday shows given by locals for the patients, talent shows by patients and staff, union meetings, they all took place in here.

The carpeted halls were during the time that this space was used for the administration of the hospital. Previously the rooms were classrooms used for occupational training for the patients. I believe this was on the 2nd floor of the building,

It's an x-ray apparatus, used for general medical purposes for the patients at the hospital.
This is amazing! Maybe someone can play movies here, it looks to be in pretty good shape, dispite the decaying walls
Do you know what this was used for?
Those look just like the windows at Byberry! I wonder if the same person who built Byberry built this too
