Thats a occilating (sp) Kanuetter Valve. Its the modern version of the whatcamacallit thingy. It was used for back flushing all the soap dispensers. you know to git rid of those hard dry clumps that build up on the ejection end of the dispenser. Nowa days I think they still use the water wigget system.
Second from the left reminds me of "Velma" from Scooby Doo! -except she has added a dark jacket to her look. ;)

Possibly they are portraits of the staff -(doctors, etc. - ?)

The foundation for the new Wal Mart in Dixmont has fallen 3 times. You'd think that would say something to the company...

I find it hard to believe that when this partition had taken its toll and fell back, it didn't take any paint off of the side walls... Amazes me.

Oh, well that explains it!

See, my mothers cousin, twice removed on my fathers side that I was telling you about, who used to work on these back in the '10s, he lost three toes, two ribs and his right eyebrow when the doohickey malfunctioned, causing a horrific accident. If only they had spent that little bit extra and used thingees, it wouldnt have ended in such a tragedy.

It's very posible! But the thingee whould let you adjust the whatchamacallit, so it was safer.
