LOL you're right, Beth F. Cher and Keith Richards look like they've already survived a nuclear holocaust! I can see them living long after people have died off. It's amazing to see in all of Mr. Mott's galleries..the tile always looks almost new sometimes!

My Dad..who is now in his 60s..contracted polio at the age of 3. Luckily he survived, and was not forced to use an iron lung..however, one of his legs is very small, and he has always walked with a limp. He was in the hospital for almost 2 years! Now, polio sufferers are seeing problems arise from the polio as they age. He comes from a large family, and strangely enough, he was the only one who got it. He said that for the years that polio was a threat..the swimming pools were closed, kids didn't go to movies..anything public was off limits. What a scary way to live!

Fwiw, In such a damp & still environment even if exposed & peeling, etc. asbestos danger is pretty low.

Just get out of contaminated clothing before it dries to become airbourne dust.

Lots of these "abandond" buildings will still have power. But mostly its going to be disconnected to everything but critical functions such as fire system monitoring & security functions.

Ahhh hahaha, yeah - quite cool, that it is IMPOSSIBLE to know the scale of this Water Event - minature flooding.

I like the appearance - there are lots of different angles, heights + planes making it interesting, and the Windows are HUGE. That´s good.
