I work for an Office Supplier, selling furniture. That desk sells for about $800 new, the chairs are $200, the 3 drawer file cabinet goes for $350, the storage cabinet is around $300, and the white board + stand is about $400. Insane. everyone was probably locked out the morning of the layoff and given the bird.

As for the plant, the office is still on the grid, and has to stay on. It would cost the county too much to take it off the grid completely.
It was better to demolish the place it was going to go up in flames by vandals.

Stepping into this turbine hall not very long ago, i was in absolute awe of how massive it was. I don't think any picture can do it justice (although Mr. Motts's comes very close!), it's just something you have to see in person...

And to think that someone, someday in the past was wheeling that equipment with intent and purpose, only to find out it was no longer needed...and neither was he. Intense.

This picture really threw me for a loop. It's such a stark contrast to the rest of the series so far. It looks so modern compared to the rest of the building.

I can just imagine a mosquito the size of a hawk flying down the hallway and dive bombing poor Mr. Motts while he was taking this shot.

*stifles a laugh*

Reminds me of four sentinels rising up watching over the building.

The tubing on the left of the arch reminds me of a robot or something working on the machinery in the middle of the arch. Really cool picture. Almost living.

When I saw this, I could almost see the little guy wandering around the plant, inspecting the walls for some reason. It looks like the machine is staring at the wall inspecting it for something... Or cleaning it
looks a little homely...wonder what those newspapers in the corner date back to?

A dummy would be not near as atmospheric as a pentagram drawn in the blood of a black cat on the floor, the eviscerated cat dangling on the hook.
