from this angle thr room looks to be barren and plain i think that to be strange for a psych office usually there are colored walls and such things as that

I really hope that x-ray wasn't put their while the hospital was open.....if not, its a bit wierd that they left these lying around when it closed. Great shot, i like the lighting too

The changes in colors, in upkeep, even all the different types of rooms at Linton State Hospital just fascinate me. It is almost as if a bunch of different galleries were rolled into one-yet they manage to keep the same feel.

Even after checking out your link I'm going to be thinking of Get Fuzzy's Bucky the cat all night.

Jane and Lynne. Wonderful posts. Having worked with developmentally disabled teens I can agree so much. And there are some who do better on the 'inside' than the 'outside'. Someday, I hope, society will find the correct balance. They haven't yet but I give humanity hope.
