Hey! I've trespassed here before!

They took the carosel down a little while ago. I live about 10 minutes from this place. I doubt they will be able to do anything to preserve it though, what with the shopping center in what would have once been a parking lot...

Princess-
I don't think that it's strange. I would think it would be a beautiful, magical place to have your pictures done!!!!

This place must have been fantastic in it's day--because it is truely beautiful now!!!! I hope they are successful in the reopening attempts--this is a place where you use your imagenation not just take a ride!
The many who have commented on The Enchanted Forest, the word "bittersweet" is the one I've heard the most from those I've talked with.
Bitter for what it was forced to become....and sweet for the place it once was and STILL could have been on its original soil.
No....I'm not bitter...NOT! : (

there is one in wisconsin dells, though im not sure if its still open or not. shame we couldnt keep these parks open, would still be fun to visit, even in your 20's....
Didn't the blue whale have some voices coming out at the back of it's mouth? I can't remember what it said!
We have home movies of my family at EF when I was 5 or 6 years old....sliding down the mountain slide with my mom who is also gone. These images, although they take me back to a very happy time as a child, it kind of sad also to see it in ruins like this...
Reminds me of "The Ring".....
Where's Little Toot?!!

This place looks A LOT like this one park located in Wisconsin Dells I believe (or is there an Enchanted Forest there? or was there...?) Anyways, I probably was there when I was three, I remember the statues and stuff that looked just like this...and those feet and the cage...it was like the exact same thing was there.

My favorite 'water' ride if it can be called that was the BIG blue whale. I remember sitting in his mouth with my grandmother. Ah, the memories. I also LOVED the huge rainbow slide.
