Havent seen it or anything other than postcards on ebay, so whoever took it probobly just kept it for a souvenier to save it from getting destroyed when the hotel eventually does

Just to settle the debate, the lamp, if it IS a Henningsen (and not a knock-off), is the ARTICHOKE design, is about 33" in diameter, and is of very complex design...not something you could hack out with a pair of pliers & screwdriver. Also, they're selling at auction for around $1500-2500. Not worth it, IMO, for all the work and illegality...
