Now that would be an uncomfortable bed to sleep in.

Like ,wow ,it looks really strange . It looks like you've used night vision to take this picture. It makes you think why someone has abandoned the chair in a dark corner and who was the last to use it........
Cool image.

This is one of the saddest things I have ever seen.

"The forgotten forest behind the glass,
A lush green floor all covered with grass,
Frozen in time for all to stare,
But there are no viewers here"

It makes you ponder the thought "Who is this door propped open for?" Eerily disconcerting.

What a bright and cheerful reminder of a happy past era for this building! This place looks just like it was left for a holiday that the workers didn't come back from. I wonder if they intended on reopening it at some point in the past.

Maybe all those years of bleaching the bathrooms has made them mold and mildew resistant! Or possibly, dirt just doesn't like minty-sea-foamy green and pale-promdress peach.

My hubby and I share a bath in that tub's twin, each year on our anniversary. I won't say where - it's too good of a secret to give out...

The color scheme is GENIUS. Serious Art Deco, to say the least.

There was a relatively recent lighting installation at the Pines in the 80s with a patch panel and some dimmer packs downstage right. The lights in the picture above were actually part of a tacky strip light that was purposely visible to the audience and ran behind the performers. There is actually an older stage BEHIND the "new" one from waaaayyyy back when.

I loved that colored star light!
I used to love those lights on the walls to the left and right side of the stage that formed the shape of stars. They coordinated with these tacky strip lights running across the back of the stage... and for some reason... this is what I remember from the Pines night club! Also, the M.C. used to introduce himself from offstage right, which was absolutely hysterical. Ahhh, the memories!
