Motts says its a rather unappealing shot, but it almost comes to life for me, I can almost see people in the picture (you know, like one of those cheesey Titanic movie flashbacks).
I can hear all those wood knockers clacking on the tables waiting for the show to begin..Does anyone know what ever became of Billy Alfred? I kept in contact with Saul Kaye from the band - he used to be the head of our High School Band in Clifton, NJ also doew anyone remember Phil Bowler who played the bass in the band - he was from CT. If so e-mail me at :

I remember this lobby filled with people after dinner..they would all have song sheets and sing along with Getrude Turtletaub on the piano - many of the people had on those green "Pines" hat with the feather they used to sell at the gift shop..ahhh memories....if you remember send me an e-mail

My family and I stayed at the Pines Hotel every summer from 1958 through 1976. It is so sad that it was left to ruins. Hopefully it will be restored one day .

I've been collecting the Rival O Mat products for about 10 years, about 45 in all. Favorite... 3 origonal 39 ball tops. Juice O Mats also very cool. I can't find any info on when they were produced. Any help would be appreciated
