Same; from the thumbnail I thought it was just a reflection in a really big puddle
Fabulous shot - no hint of the sunset in the window, only on the wall. And the yellow image on the wall makes the shot unique.
Great shot, with the lighting, the colours, and the long corridor. Yucky mess on the floor. Thanks for another great gallery and for the historical shots too. :-)
Oh, there is the little door open. It is bigger than I thought. I never realized that what looked like a little door actually had a thicker frame around it and a bigger opening existed. Meals could be passed through this bigger opening. I agree, autoguy.
For a minute there I thought it was a reflection shot - windows reflected in a large amount of water on the floor. Then I realized - no floor at all!
That's the second toilet askew on its piping. How did that happen - vandals?
Great colours, with the red brick, black shadows, green mold, blue door frame and white plaster.
Oh oh, when that wooden frame goes, the mirror will fall - 7 years bad luck.
And one sitting on the outside ledge four panes below that one, Tootuncommon. I wonder what the two diagonal pole-like things are? (in the room).
What a lovely mural - a fabulous find. In pretty good shape too. Too bad it couldn't be removed and put somewhere else.
I guess they didn't think of potential fire.
I would guess that the round opening is to view the occupants but the small rectangular opening seems too small to pass meals through. Maybe for mail? If the occupants actually got mail. Thanks Mr. Motts for the historical picture - wonderful to see.
