Fabulous shot with the symmetry of the mirror images of the two sides of the building framed by the trees and shot from close to the building looking up. You certainly have an artistic eye and great talent.
Also a fantastic shot, although a bit more scary than the other one.
Beautiful photo, very imaginatively done with the black in the foreground which is a perfect introduction to the building in the back. This would make great wallpaper.
This shot is absolutely amazing. From the way you set it up, to the lighting, to the simple beauty and peace it portrays.... one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. Wow.

The first 1/4 second I saw this picture I gagged. *shivers* That is a narrow hallway....

I like that we can see Motts' "ghost" images of him lighting the hallway... it has some sort of weird line effect that makes me look deeper into the photo.... :)

I live not even a block from the asylum, I can see it from my front door. It is an absolutely gorgeous building. H.H. Richardson was a master of his craft.

looks like an evil castle! where is the lightening in the background that would complete the shot! LOL
No pics of the documents?
I really want to know why so many of the asylums had safes....!?
Nice sturdy rails...
