You can just as easily roll the table out, put your camera on it and turn the timer on. Of course it helps if you're not standing in the way when you roll the tray back in. LOL
It also looks like a set of smudged handprints on the right wall (and the left) as well as a butt print in the middle. So obviously someone has tried it. LOL
I agree, Shawn. Seeing these galleries kind of ticks me off, in the sense of all that excessive government waste. There are clinics that work in underdeveloped nations that would LOVE to have this unused, outdated equipment donated for their work. What the heck.
Yes, and everyone wants 'free healthcare.' The state-run mental health system should tell you something about how government-run healthcare is going to work. More hospital closures, probably doctor and drug shortages, and they'll be going back to more lockdown procedures instead of meds to placate violent patients. I bet these old abandoned places will be up and running then in order to house the influx of patients. Sheesh.
The town of Pripyat is becoming a bit of a tourist trap, but still looks incredible - I hope to visit it in the next years, and explore the lesser known abandonments in Kiev / Belarus. It's really just a matter of coming up with the cash.
dmanit... why do they have to demolish these places?! LIke pilgrim states military ward.. they didn't do ARA on it, and knokcked down, good job idiots!
