i went over to glenndale last october '06 with some friends. we went downstairs and walked through the tunnels [it was wet and muddy down there but not too bad]. we came to a dead end because it was closed off by some gate but we didnt want to walk back through all the mud and water so we climbed through the man-hole. it was scary but pretty sweet

I am trying to get a small group of friends to go there. I am very interested in paranormal investigation. I hope I get the opportunity to see this TB hospital.

I'm not sure why tis photo is different, but I love it. It looks so lonely. All the shots from this trip that show nature climbing the buildings just makes me think of how humans extract material from the earth for our use and then abandon them and then nature slowly reconsumes what we took...

Yeah, the police definately use night vision because I got caught by a cop who jumped out of a pine tree. I would have ran but was with a girl so I couldn't. He let us go, though.

Glen Dale Hospital is an amazing place. The amount of ghost stories I could tell from being inside the childrens building as well as the morgue... I could write a book. This place was host to many horrible happenings, and yet its beauty is unmatched.

The maximum life expectancy of TB outside a host is 8 months provided it is in spit and in a cool, dark place. On clothing, it lasts about 45 days.
