oh, my. such a beautiful image, but scrolling down throught the comments the mention of Farenheit 451 just made me so sad. I wish someone would take the books and restore them. They're so facinating.

If only they could have spent the same attention to the people in this building, as they did in its design and construction. Then this place might have had a different history all together.
I wonder how many people stared at the ceilings in this place and tried to forget they were there.

I have a hard time picturing a 63-year-old man spray painting his name all over the place.

Duran, would these be the same reels of film referred to by Sam's 7-28-05 post under the picture entitled "Watching the Outside"? He claimed to have or have seen films showing abuses of patients at Pennhurst.

The way his collar is turned up, at first glance it looks like a VAMPIRE in the mirror.
