my mother worked here for many years, it was her first job and she worked till it was closed, but she always took us here and i've always loved it.
i'm wondering though since i have seen the no trspassing signs which were never there before, is there a very high risk of getting caught if you go?, because now that i'm older i've been itching to go

On takeing things I am 50/50... Most of theses are by and large forgotten... and in most cases, its pretty close to every one said stop! then walked away. Now, I think if someone takes something, and it sparks in intrest in the place, then it has some vaule. Lets be honast, it will not bring back the people, but it might remind us of their story. However, I do beleive everything should be done in a taste full way, like leave a note, and say thank you, or something like that, that would be respectful.

Maybe it was the bad energy that develops when someone takes something that isn't theirs. I dunno, just a funny hunch.

An ex boyfriend of mine took a turntable from one building. Were they called record players back then?...anyways. We plugged it in and sparks flew which killed it. I guess it was the bad energy of the place- didn't want to pass it on through our ears and junk.

So these strange set ups were supposed to help the mentally challenged? How!?! This room has insanity written all over it. I really feel bad for the patients who endured life in this strange place.

I certainly hope that this fan was not easily accessed by the patients in this hospital. Anyone could easily stick their hand/finger(s) into this fan.
