I was 5 in 1985. Its hard to believe the "Golden age of Asylum" was still pretty prevalent back then, it wasn't really that long ago-or at least it seams it wasn't that long ago

Nice shot. I think it would be a lot prettier in sepia though.

It must be the angle of the shot, it looks like the hallway is going down idefinitely. uuuuuugggggghhhhhhhhh its creepy. yeah, im scared of heights

For some reason, that shot really scares me. I cant help but ponder the thought of being a patient here and being strapped down to a gurney, carried into one of these creepy elevators. The windows on the elevator doors really add to the hospital horror theme.

Oh god disgusting! Yet another thing I must watch out for if I go exploring these places! Bad enough stepping in dog crap, but geez!

I am not so sure that the phrase " lickety-split" should be used in an occurance like the one you jsut stated.

:) almost as gross as the defination of mong.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE AN ARTIST REPRODUCE THIS AS A PAINTING. I CAN ALSO IMAGINE THIS IN TIME LAPSE PHOTOGRAPHY. ANOTHER CLASSIC, MOTTS.

Now Tony, are you gently suggesting I wrote this? ;-)

Ha! Good point!

A friend of mine and Motts had to take an emergency dump and stayed back while I went down the steps to the steam tunnel...DIRECTLY BENEATH HIM! I saw his shadow from the grate above and dove away from the spot lickety-split!

Yeah, geez, Tony even I KNOW that's a soap dispenser. Forget your glasses, or what?

Don't ya see it right above the mirror?

I'm totally with you on that one, Tony. I completely avoid those grated sections on city sidewalks...just like I try to avoid those open-back stairs *shiver*
