That's actually not a vacuum at least not in the traditional sense. It is either a cast saw or bone saw. Since it was in the morgue its mostly likely a bone saw. It did have vacuum suction to keep dust down (either plaster or bone).
You are very, very brave. I draw the line at exploring old cemeteries (dawn to dusk only). Love the pictures!! I am sure you have explored the many abandoned resorts in the Poconos? About 21 years ago my husband and I decided to stay at the one of the now abandoned resorts (as a joke) and I am pretty sure it looked the same then as it does now.
