We do, Sandy, and Mr. Motts too! And it Really is a neat picture; imagine approaching those doors with the bright gay crosses, facing South, after Mass. (Does anyone say "gay" anymore, as in lighthearted and carefree?)
Think this is facing North - so...never any Sun; just bright light - must have been magical & wonderful.
Guess it is done at times, eldokid@aol.com - like Taunton - those lamps were saved. (Best lamp-place ever!)
Thank you so much for this picture. Wonder if the sweet golden crosses were randomly placed, or if there was a pattern to it. Good at math. Guess we will never know.
It is so NICE that there is no doodle/grafitti/scrawl/scibble anywhere. Wonder how come?
Lion looks a bit worried. Look how The Golden Wings reach outside the decorative border. I really like that.
Has beauty timelessness.
Very precious decorations indeed. Just look at that! I love it! They were so good at math, and so skilled. Back in the days.

Freespirit..from what I understand it's completely demolished.

Can you imagine what that organ sounded like, soaring through the church? Must have been wonderful.

Wow. Just wow. I cannot believe that something so beautiful can be decimated without a second thought. It's just wrong in so many ways. And yay for another new gallery!

It's just sad. It makes me so upset. Like when the people out in the Hamptons decide they don't like their house anymore so they demolish it just like throwing out a piece of paper. People suck. Thank you Motts for capturing history even if its fleeting.

Thanks for the title. I was wondering what "SMARK" meant.
Yup I see it.
