Gosh - to have an Abandoned Amusement Park in a city
- the thought is making my head spin.....
- such an evidence for The Big Loss, and all the lost chances for happy laughter and gaily romping around.
Distant Torment Visible.....
YES, absolutely!
Awesome Gallery really - very moving indeed - every picture -
it is the saddest, and gloomy, with and AN ABANDONED Amusement Park - sort of a real low water mark - hmmmm
Thanks, Mr. M - may you always be safe and well!
Very awesome...actually - we build for Business and Pleasure - and it is even hard to tell apart.
Really like;
think of plant and coal and what not seeing this.
Yeah - Bumper cars - so much Fun!
Arghhhhh
that floor... it is supposed to be glossy shiny smooth....................
The sadness of an Abandoned Amusement Park is indescribable inexpressible
I really like Bumper Cars - and this................................. desolate forlornness ruin... so gloomy
May be this was to be a prize for something?

Reminds me of red velvet cake, just the kind that has sat out way too long.

Too bad it is not spinning like the Spree Park one, that would be neat.

It seems to have been a Ferris Wheel made by Zamperla; the baskets would hang and swing off the poles located at the end of the arms. These were probably salvaged and re-used elsewhere, or sent to the Six Flags "bone yard" for parts.

Waffle - it did smell like nasty old deep fryer grease, with a hint of mold.

Yup infrared, about 30 second exposure.

Thanks, exposures were about 5 minutes on average, but this area was lit up by the lights on the interstate, so I was able to halve that. It let me get more photos in time-wise, but unfortunately it makes the star trails shorter.

I don't recall it being on the ground.

Yeah the baskets people sit in spun around on plates that are quite close to the ground, so most of the ride was probably done for when it flooded.
