I wish people would go there just to explore and not to destruct it. The architechture of these buildings is pure art, and should be shown respect and not torn to pieces.
When My friends and I explored one of the old residential buildings, we found an entrance to one of the tunnels. Only two of the guys had the guts to go down, the rest of us stayed up and waited for them, but when they went back without me they found that all of the buildings were basically connected underground.
The face in the upper right may just be a reflection. I've done my fair share of exploring the Pilgrim State buildings, givent hat I live ive minutes away, and there's mirrors all over the place. I did some photographing of the old industrial building this weekend. Only the outside though. My photography teacher didn't want us to be illegal lol.
oh yeah same with KP they do it on halloween too, there are the secret tunnels, which they are planninng on sealing up,:(! so go there before they do , its kool,go to home depot or sometthing and get one of those 9/11 masks cuz there is still some of that lead paint and asbestos, just some advice
Lynne, though it is true you cannot catch a mental illness from meeting a person with a mental illness, I have found that train of thought is contagious. I think it's part of the reason we separate ourselves from people who are unhealthy. I don't see people with problems as something horrible or wrong, I share your beliefs that we need to do alot less stigmatizing, and ostracisizing of those of us who struggle in our human community. I've had my share of issues, and there's crazy stigma attached even today about harmless conditons such as "a.d.d." (Though I think instead of labeling people as a.d.d. so much, I think they should look into a person's past, ie traumatic events can interrupt a person's development of organization.) Anyhoo, I'm just pointing out that part of what is frightening sometimes to people I think in theory, is how we all adopt parts of each other realities, and the possibility of adopting someone else's reality, maybe even seeing things from their perspective. Whatchoo think?
