just the thought of a 9 feet fall onto old wooden boards in the attic of an abandoned building is enough to keep me away...i can see the slow mo sequence of the fall:
Slip, get splinter, fall, land, get splinter, break, fall, land, get tetanus, break, fall, hit head on sink, land, break, fall, find yourself resting in an adult crib in the middle of a pitch black basement.....blurgh!

Mostly radiators and pipes ripped out of the walls from the abatement.

andrew, the roof of this particular hallway could be removed to allow the nurses and orderlies to have their annual giraffe race....well thats what i was told anyway...by santa claus....wheres my meds?

For some unknown reason, I believe the abestos has to be removed before the building can be torn down.

Andrew .. downtown Philly needs a WalMart.. work on Independence Hall so it gets torn down..... oh, and downtown D.C. needs a WalMart too and a place with lots of parking is the White House, so with that and the Executive Office Building, see how many windows you can work on. See a therapist to find out about "release".

Thank God that abandoned buildings are "warehoused" rather than bulldozed or imploded. There are many I would love to tour myself, but I thank Motts for the photographic tour with such quality.

So are they rennovating this? I mean why else would they remove all the abestos?
