Great shoot Motts, TY! The things that have gone on there must have been incredible. Research that has helped many people. I'd hate to think all that nice millwork and decorative plaster will get tossed, I sure hope it gets saved.

Wow those stairs are as steep as some movie theatres now.

Wonderful set Motts, thank you for sharing!

Great shot Motts. I wonder what the cubby hole was for on the bottom, maybe storage? And do you remember what the contraption hanging on the wall was?

Wonderful! The woodwork, the windows, the ceiling... I agree they sure don't make 'em like this anymore, sadly. :-(

I was just going to ask if you remember Motts, is that a tin ceiling?

Deb you are right about the mop and bucket. It also looks like there are tv monitors hanging.

Is that a clock above the window? I love those windows!
Reminds me of a college classroom of mine. There was one woman who wore very high, spike heels to class almost every day, and of course, she had to take her time sauntering down the steep stairs/aisle to the front row, making sure everyone noticed her.... She only stumbled once (but luckily, didn't quite fall, anyway); we noticed that she sat closer to the back/top row after that.....;-)
Look closely at the tiny tiles. They're not just in plain square grid pattern, and all the same size, but have a bit of their OWN pattern to the layout. Imagine how long that took (unless the tiles were in pre-made sheets...?) Love the attention to detail in these old buildings :-)
