A lot of places used BEST brand ic core locks I really like it when the facility name is stamped on a BEST PADLOCK I have a collection of them
I really like it when I can get the top master and control key bitting then I can pull the core out of the lock a bunch of these are 7 pin.

Back in 2014 I spent two weeks on a locked secure ward. I know of at least one guy who broke a observation window in the door. That is no easy feat. Nice photos Mr. Motts.

I've wanted to visit this location many times, and have even gone so far as to drive around behind the buildings, along the side road, but I just haven't been able to get up enough courage to venture in, due to safety reasons. In addition, finding someone else to make that trek is near to impossible.

Thank you for sharing photos of these beautiful buildings; there is so many stories I've heard over the years, friends who have visited and photos I've taken of the front exterior.

My guess is that a television console of some sort was in there.

I guess it's some sort of restricted access vending machine. Like dry snacks that the patients (the good ones) could purchase. But the access to the machine had to be restricted at times for obvious reasons. Picture nurse Diesel coming out from behind the desk with the "snack machine key" etc.
