I love the metric system. It is SO much easier than what we use in the states. I wish we'd gone metric decades ago.....guess I'll be in one of these crypts before that happens. :-(

You beat me to it, autoguy. I was thinking almost the exact same thing.

When I was a little boy in the 1960s, I recall my mother taking me into the ladies restrooms at one of the state parks in Georgia....it had female stand-up urinals on the floor very similar to this, but if I recall, they were a bit more elongated.

Again, how regal these buildings are show through....if not for the bars, I could almost see this being some king's or noble's castle.

Such regal buildings simply to be abandoned. Makes me sad.

I think I see the soap dispensers on the ceiling.

This was truly an intense gallery....even had to take several breaks while viewing. Definitely worth the time examining these photos!
