Looks like a beautiful autumn day. It is breathtaking to see an autumn landscape here in New England. It's too bad that winter follows... Fall would be less depressing

I attempted to climb the stairs inside it... It was terrifying. I only made it halfway up, because two or three neighboring stairs were missing. It's impossible now.

There are some pretty neat, outdated texts in that room... but most are all moldy and warped, and useless.

those are just the entrance doors to the stage wings. the actual entrances to the room are to the right of the photograph, off camera.

I remember walking along the wall to teh right of the stage two years ago, and the floorboads nearly caved in on me. It was scary! It's so broken and sad, there.

I have lived in Goshen all my life, and now, 18, I can say that the Salesian school means more to me than any other part of town. I have been inside, and all i have is respect for the old building, and I hope they never tear it down. i'd much rather see a community effort to fixing it up, and making it the new Libraby or something else.

DoomHamster is correct. The plug was used for lighting and anything else that required electricity. Although it was not an altar, our class did hold an outdoor mass here numerous times. We used it for playing music (record player if anyone remembers what one of those are) during the mass.
