This isn’t good. It’s a great little forum and it would be a great shame to lose it. I don’t often venture onto this part of the website; but I have to show my respects to the forum :(

Yeah something weird happened there and everyone got banned. It's not looking very promising to fix. I removed the link in the meantime, since it was filling up the error logs... will take another crack at it this weekend.

I watched the video motts linked at the beginning. It sounded to me like "child labor" was an excuse to give contracts out and spend money. Looked to me like the farm wasn't being abused as that idea of "child labor" implies.

The idea that it is child labor aside from the age and the fact that it is work that has to be done on a schedule to a standard, I assume the exception is also in the profit taken by the state off of selling excess produce even if it is used for the school and possibly because they are saving the expense of buying that food.
I think that loses something of what people knew when farming was the only way we all et.
I expect some kids were worked harder than others and otherwise put in danger.

I agree with Tricia. If you were bad and had to go here, there is punishment. It aint child labor if they aint getting paid......
