I'm eleven, I know it sounds really soppy, but this isn't an asylum, there are people there and I don't care if thier dead, but thier not like old equipment abandoned in hospitals. It's just really sad and sick that thier just forgotton, nobody knows who they are. I bet all of you would dissagree with me, but I just feel it really sad and touching that thier just left there. People loved theese people once. And those people to are probably dead. I respect you Motts for not peeking at them.

its not the fact that it's a crypt that scares me. it's the fact that there's an empty slot, waiting for the next person to die...
The missing item above the handle has left a shadow in the wood in the shape of a crown - the crown symbol is often used to signify royalty or something by royal order (like on mustard or coats or something from, say, Harrods Department store in London, and under the crown it might say something like By Order of Her Majesty the Queen, xx (name of company) is the royal supplier of mustard or whatever the good is. I have a suede coat with this patch stitched inside.
My Prince has come ... I must meet you
and place akiss upon your bare skull
oh sorry....

The Crown was placed there for what reason??? To be seen, and to recognize the grave as that of a king, perhaps. If it were not a royal, a peasant or common citizen perhaps why would a crown be placed upon it?? At best, to hide a nearby grave of a king - to distract the followers.... Be it a hoax or distraction, a very old crown of some significance was left upon this casket. Both possibilities deserve some reverence. Further investigation is definitely warrented before speculation quashes the matter.
it looks like part of a hand and rotted glove i have seen skin that colar when i was a grave digger years ago some one broke in to a cript and stoll a old womans head man it was a creepy
