In New England it's quite common to find grave yards/crypts in such conditions. Not far from where I live there is a cemetery that has been left to rot for sometime now. A chunk of the cemetery has collapsed into the stream bellow. Visiting it really gives you the gut feeling and of that of deep sorrow.

It's so resident evil. Too bad the out side was covered up. It would have been kinda neat to see light shine through.

Weclome to the department of redundancy department.....
I meant to say:
The sadness in the way these human remains were mishandled by some very sadistic "people" is incredibly DISTURBING.

Motts, your photography here was very powerful to me. The sadness in the way these human remains were mishandled by some very sadistic "people" is incredibly sad. But your photography was done in a most respectful way. A very powerful gallery. Thank you!

And, I agree, if it is safe for you to do so, report it....Maybe anonymously?

I think this is a most powerful picture. Aside from the leg bones, and hip bones, this one seems much more......personal....to the deceased. This is their mouth....where they spoke from. And where they ate, keeping them alive. Very powerful to me....

This is sad as hell, but also really interesting... Wish there was some forensic expert arround us... Is it possible to identify who the person was just by analyzing the teeth or the bones?

It IS odd that the top 2 stayed sealed.... I bet you had to keep your eye open for nails sticking up!!

The disrespect some have for the dead is downright criminal. However, some of these may have fallen victim to animal predation. The caskets did rot and fall apart....

DAMN Motts! How can there be so many broken caskets on the floor and there not be bones everywhere in sight?

Have to say I'm dissapointed in you. Up to now you have always been more respectful of the dead. Seems in this shoot you exploited the remains in a sensational fashion. I expect there are many who will disagree with me for whatever their reasons may be and that's fine. An opinion from one long time follower that's all.
