780 Comments for Mentha State Hospital

Great comment Larry. Thanks Mr. Motts for another great gallery and I'll be looking for the next one. The hospitals are my favourite.
I agree, Mama, Larry D and Rekrats. Nice layout of colour in the hall and on the floor, and then the chair room almost matches the chair.

No door handle on the inside! And just a cheap drawer handle-type thing on the outside. Weird.

I really like the chair on the left! I know I have seen one like it someplace.
Mice doorways.
Very odd. Maybe the painter had to stop and came back the next day to do the arms, and didn't notice he/she put them on the wrong side.
I agree, Rekrats. Great shot.
Great title. It looks reptilian.
I agree with Mike, first time I've seen "modern" plastic shower inserts in an old hospital. Nice shot, Mr. Motts, of shower - door - shower.
Fabulous, a new gallery. Nice to see everyone back, and happy birthdays to those having or had them. Very interesting to see the historical pictures. Nice commentary Mr. Motts on the hospital's past and on your visit, i.e. creeping through the basement tunnels and coming across modern LED's, whoops.

I'll bet the door isn't as narrow as it looks because of the height of the door plus the transom window.

LOL.. Rekrats.. that's funny. I do that all the time now. Even at work. I go to the bathroom and look around and wonder if some day in the future, this building will be abandoned and someone will be in here photographing the bathroom and everyone will be commenting on it... =P .. I always look around now and ponder how the building and its rooms will decay.
