Apologies, for double post. Do not miss the play arrow on one of the pics on page 4 of Mr. Milfords album. My eyes sometimes miss things. I do not understand how to leave him feed back. If you do, please leave some for him. Thank You Mr. Motts, Mr. Milfords work is so complimentary to yours.
A new link to a old album from Mr. Milfodd's photobucket. We have an old link to this album. The album has some stunning new drone photography. Again Thank You to Mr. Milfodd and I hope it is okay to post. There is a striking picture straight down on the turret. Happy New Year!https://www.flickr.com...s/72157614981478949/
You are welcome Mica, to be fair credit goes to Steven on the last pic of the "Salem Jail". I followed his google link to Millbrook. I can never get those pesky Google earth links to work. Thanks Steven if you see this. The size of the land / lot , Halcyon sits on is deceptive, comparing the Google earth to the drone videos. Mica it is indeed a very special place.
Yeah - thank you so much, lpn! How nice of you.
Some of the pictures......have no words. That building....!!!!!
I always have to check on Bennett School for Girls at Google Earth expecting the worst.....her gone....gone....but she is still there.
So......how could the building possibly be saved now????
wanderer, Ratchet always said the only plan is Gravity. I think he was correct. The posts over the years in this thread prove it. Not wanting to say good bye to Halcyon it is comforting. I have never been there, Iknow you have. Maybe luck will save her again.. at least for a while. There is something very special about this place. Yes dear Wanderer Fall Is here again.
I think you might go back to London one day,, I would appreciate a tour guide.. Here is a link to a story re: 890 Park Avenue. The only remaining 1 of 3 James Ware designed. I wish there would of been pictures. http://www.nytimes.com...alling-fortunes.html
