Mr. Motts, I have traveled to this City Methodist Church numerous times and been captivated my ever since the first time i stepped foot into its halls. It is one of the most beautiful places I have photographed. Never have i been able to find historical photographs like the ones you have. I thank you so very much for it, those pictures allowed me to finally see City Methodist in its former glory. Truly, i thank you!!!
Thanks again, Motts.

Great shoot of one of the ghosts of Gary. Thnx for posting Motts! There's plenty of ghosts there too. Did you get to the steel mill? How about the Hulett ore unloaders on the side side of Chicago? They're the last two left intact.

That's a runway for the zombie fashion shows.

"Moving picture" show. It's some of that new-fangled stuff. I don't hear that one very often any more!

I want to stand in the center of that and jump up and down.

People who break those will go straight to HELL! Might not be much different than their current living conditions, but that's where they go!

Poor Motts. Next there will be a collection to have him inked with a soap dispenser.

It's Scary-Gary. If the locals don't get you, the zombies will. Look out for the little alter boy zombies. They're small and fast, and have sharp teeth.
i made a similar comment re:the runway in the prev pic.but dont you think if it was installed for removal of props and equipment, that perhaps it would be in a better state than the stage?i do realise it was probably only installed temporarily for removal, but being installed more recently, one would think it would be in better shape...

unless looters took the planking away...but then why would they not touch the pews...i dont know, just throwing it out there. = )
why is there a catwalk leading from the stage to where Motts is standing?Americas Next Top Model?lol = p

Perhaps the respect for its beauty is the reason it is intact....
I watch Life after people on the history channel, and yes this is looks like some of that...
This is amazing, once again this site has produced magnificent photos of grand structures. I would love to see this in person, but the pictures speak volumns which will do for now.....thank you for this..
