Now, WHO did this and why? We will never know; put all those little sinks upside-down together: it is just strange. As strange as everything else.
It is, yes, it is absolutely amazing! Thought it was a mirror at first.....
and the bleak colors and the light. It is perfect. And if it stretches the same way behind you...well.............you are a fine photographer, Mr. M.

Warm hues give it a disturbing comfort. :)

Strikes me as a seclusion. Reminds me of the one you took at Fullers.

, Shannon: I alappud your efforts to get involved in the clean water scenario. The church I pastor is involved in Advent Conspiracy and partnering with Living Water Intl. Last year, with a Christmas in February, we collected over $1100 for LWI. A church of 190 that also included Samaritan’s Purse shoeboxes, $1000 for a Haiti trip, clothing for Tree of Love (CPC) and $600 for Kidmo. This year our attendance is down due to some situations but we have bested last year’s shoebox total and all the clothing was bought for more families. I am anxious to see what will happen this year.  on 10 December 2009 / 1:50 PM

Someone needs to clean their bathroom!!!!!
I spent sometime there as a child , in the late 70's. I forget which ward, but was a part of the Yorkwoods Center across the road. Dont really remember much of any of that place as colorful....some of the people yes, but not the walls. Some very kind staff were there at that time. We kids were a mixed bag, some with real bad mental issues and some just truble maker kids whos parents couldnt handle them.

Hi Anna, I am a former patient of Ypsi State Hosp., As a teenager I was on the C5-1 unit for 2 years in 1979/80. Reminiscing brought me to this site. I remember very well how intimidating the building and tunnels were, we traveled through them many times going to various places like the B-Store and activities. My first job was in house keeping there which was located in the tunnels. My memories, good and bad, are many.

Worked for IBM repairing the forensic center's computers back in the 70's.. The folks who worked there in this facility for the criminally insane really had their hands full. I remember the orderly's had syringe packs on their belts so they could sedete patients quickly. They had the worst of the worst for the criminally insane.. I knew a lot of the people who worked there and even though the building was old they ran a really tight ship.. Can't forget the razor wire and the radar in the no mans land around the faciility.
