I went profound deaf at age 39.
I suffer from severe anxiety disorder and also major depression. I also have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I may be wrong how pronouce that.

I have always been hard of hearing, made much bad grades in school, and because I had hearing impariment, school personell wanted me go in mental institution, they say I no can learn because not only I hard of hearing, however, they thought I was mentally challlenged to a degree that no help for me. However, I proved them wrong. I took tests and now my shrink says I am very smart, I not know how apply self because for forty-six years I was always sheltered. When husband got killed in 2001, I had learn many things on my own. if not for my seventeen year old daughter, i would be in a mental facility now. She takes care of all our money managements. She is my right hand team!
