from what I remember...main building..keep heading downstairs..the level before you reach the tunnels (often filled with H2O) ...i remember there were directions in spray paint....in the same general area of the (marked) padded rooms...
Found all the photos on this page haunting. I can almost hear the voices of the workers and the machinery operating. The value now, and for future generations? PRICELESS!!!!
Do you see how the stairs are worn? They dip down in middle from hundreds and hundreds of staff, patients and all the souls of yesteryear. The steps unto themselves have a story to tell.
That's not a horse and carriage, it's a carousel. See the top and the sugarcane poles?
And yeah, that looks to be a gingerbread house. The "eyes" look like peppermint candies.
The more I look at this photo, the more I see the theme of this website. It's not only creative photography but Motts delivering a message that he might not even intended. Or maybe he did, tell us Motts.
does anyone else notice the barbapapa next to the horse? remember those things from the 70's early80's? i was a barbapapa freak when i was a kid but i have to sat its a bit freaky in the setting its in -shudder-
They look to me like kitchen instruments. A meat cleaver, a chef's knief, a utility knife and two spreaders. Nothing particularly "illegal" about them. They do seem to be in a rather strange place though.
i know people that layed on the morgue drawers and pulled them selves in there are pictures of him half in the drawer. I recently went with just a flash light and got the eriest feeling from this room and the labotomy lab.
You think its scary you should see it at midnight pitch dark with only flashlights guiding your way!! Yeah scary I went the other night-- the top of the table is no longer there
the other night i went through and walked the basement the morgue is down there also the labotomy lab were it is said to be were the most torture took place. It is soo fricken' scary i might do it again but when i got home I was so cold that i was blue up to 2hrs after we left my brother said that i looked dead--i do beleive that the place is haunted
This picture just brings back memories recently i went at night mind you to walk the basement and many rooms of this hospital-- the morgue and also the labotomy lab it was so cold and erie IT WAS a great and horrifying experience that i probably won't do again well maybe one more time!!!
