I LOVE this site. I think it is great how everyone is trying to figure out what this "thing" is. I admit I have NO idea what it is but I have sure enjoyed reading about the chickens, the dead bodies, the crud on the floor, the bread baking, etc. Too bad there are no sites dedicated to trying to figure out what certain objects are. This is kind of fun!

Umm, it's well-lit and has plenty of open doors and windows, is surrounded by large open fields, and sometimes has deer eating grass just outside.
What's so scary about it? I've been through this hall hundreds of times.

I walk right in through one of the multitudes of open DOORS and take a hallway to the morgue.

This was shot in infrared on a Sony F-707, which is actually an apple green color straight out of the camera. I moved the hue over a bit to the yellow color because I liked the "old paper" effect it had :)

Purple Loosetrife growing in the foreground. Introduced by the Europeans, it now grows with terrifying speed at abandoned places and marshland.
You guys should read a book called "Gone Away Lake" by Elizabeth Enright. It might be for young adults, but that book is interesting.
