is it me, or is a certain spider person hyped on abuse? I am not saying anything against her mode of sentence structure and mispelling, but her attitude toward abuse. My daughter is hard of hearing and she words her sentences same as Spidergirl, so that no problem for me. It the way she hypes about children being abused and such. Makes me shudder. Gee whiz!
It's almost nice that the roof has colapsed and it brought in the light and the air. Nature cleansing and regaining what belonged to it the first place. The pic reflects a renewal and change.
When was a shaker machine an item for abuse? Gee, Spidergirl, get real! As a teenager I loved playing on my mom's and only abuse I had was an itching fanny, but felt good nontheless! Not everything was abusive. What seems barbaric to us in our time, was probably legit in their time. To truly realize what went on in this place, you would have had to be among them. All we have is heresay and tales of abuse and neglect, and we truly not know if this is fact because even papers and by word of mouth could be intentionally false. Sure, some staff person who was tired and maybe had problems took it out on some patients, but we cannot group all of them together. There are many staff that are good and just trying to do their job the best they know how. I praise them for their efforts.
I heard many bad rumors about the mental facility where I was sent to, and I was scared to death, they had a rap for being abusive and mistreating patients. However, I was amazed how nice the staff were and tried make my transition into institutional life easy as possible. I learned never listen to rumors unless you find out the true facts yourself.
Just my thoughts on this...I know many people think different.
When I was sent involuntarily (spell?) to the mental hospital for suicide tendicies (spell?) I was under strict suicide watch, and I no could bath alone nor use toilet without some there with me. It was shameful have guard over me and under lock and key, however, I thankful now I was no left alone and was monitered much. If not, I would may not be here posting this comment. I would have suceeded in suicide. I know many prefer their privacy, but when comes to safety, then privacy has be placed on secondary and not primary. Hope this makes sense. I no good with word structure, sorry.
i love this kind of stuff it takes my everyday pains away, the useless friends, the stresses of life, they all seem to melt away for a few moments while one would emagine what worse or better things were there in a distant past...beautiful
My mother was a paitent in the 60s and 70s, I remember visiting her there, it was always a creepy feeling even then....I look at these pictures and think how did we let our poor mother stay there, she died in 1985..a sad ending to a sad life.
