We shot our first feature film here in November. A million dollar location for next to nothing. I got to wander about for almost two weeks. At the end of which I was still finding places I hadn't seen before. We could not get into the lower depths as that was flooded and we did not get into the catwalks above, but we were pretty much everywhere else. So sad what has been allowed to happen to this amazing bit of architectural artwork.
I'm not really sure, they were in a lot of places and it looked very time consuming, but then again some people have a lot of time hanging out in these places ;)
The backs of some of the doors seemed to have authentic writing and scratches, but I believe they were in a different ward.
A buddy of mine went to the hospital a few nights ago and took pictures of the perimiter.. The pictures are unbelieveable...
The main budilding seems so peaceful, but inside there are large flashes of light in the top section. ( but, there is no electricity running to the building) - But as i looked at more of the picutes, there seemed to be a thousand eyes gleeming in one of the rooms. Also, there is large energy spots to the right of the building in one of the pictures. I don't believe it is "haunted" but i do believe it pulls enegy of some sort...
anyone know Rick Newman? he is doing very well. Check out his web site "High Tech Productions. There is pictures of him now and back in the 70"s and 80's.He looks the same but older.
I still can't remember Mike, could you tell me what he looks like and what years he was working at the pines? There was a name Rick Newman on the stage chat who i remember, he was stage mang.
That shadow on the floor looks like a horse head...
I love this picture though, the high contrast of the black walls and the walls in the room is amazing.
This gallery truely moved me in the sense of the atmosfear that has been created by photographer and model. I have NEVER been left this impressed or affected by any image before, there is just something, eerie, sad and beautiful about them all.
hey I just stumbled across this site and I wanna say it's amazing =) Me and some firends took pictures here a couple weeks ago. Those chiars in front of the stage... we put em there so sit down in front of for a picture haha things were HEAVY.
I was on Thorazine for around a year after Haldol was not effective.
I developed tardive diskonesia (parkonsonian-type disorder) with tics and movement issues. After discontinuing the medication and usage of cogentin and Vitamin E, the symptoms lessened. I still have a few tics, but they are not as noticable.
Thorazine is a strong drug, but unfortunately you sometimes have to play the odds. Fortunately, newer drugs are available. Of course they are horribly expensive. My prescription of Seroquel is around $1300 a month.
