Hey Motts, I'm not sure where you live but i'm in the new york metro area and work for a construction supply company and we supply mag lights of many sizes and colors. I can get them for you at whole sale cost. It would have to be at the most 2 at a time, but i should not be a problem.

I figure i'd mention it since you said you lose them all the time.

It's beautiful how the pains of glass are all cracked. And how the darkness creeps into the hallway from behind your view.

I would love to walk around in a place like this. It is truly ashame it is being torn down instead of preserving the building.

Such bittersweet beauty...

Ignoring the words, this is my take on the art:
Taking into account the fact that it is the stairs to the administration, it would seem as though the angels, the souls, are ascending the stairs to try reach salvation. People who are declared "insane" are often seen to be evil or useless members of society. Misunderstood, they search for the cure for their "disease", but often find that hospitals do nothing than make things worse.
The angels would be the "crazy" people going to get help, but it turns out the help is only more evil.

The fingers digging into the legs...wanting to claw and share the pain... Nasty, but vividly accurate.

If I didn't know better and the wings weren't there, I'd think that was a shot of my daughter. Her institution has better paint and lighting though.

This one and the subject matter hit a nerve VERY hard... My daughter is that age and IS in a nut-hut. This one brought back her "I'm going to scratch your face/eyes out !!!" effort. VERY realistic and makes for shudders.
